Nurnberg Scientific was started in 1946 as a division of Nurnberg Thermometer. Nurnberg Thermometer started in 1895 in New York by a German immigrant family. Through the first half of the century they manufactured thermometers for research, industry and gauges for the marine industry. Lifelong employee, Sam Friedland, bought the company and saw the opportunity to expand into the general laboratory products business.

We've got work to do

Nurnberg needed help with a relaunce of its woefully under-developed, primitive website. They wanted to re-engage old customers who had drifted to newer, more convenient ordering processes offered by competitors, and want to address it with a fresh, clean, and modern brand to ignite new enthusiasm.

Their customer insights were ready for A/B testing. They were also rapidly growing and wanted to have a well documented visual guidelines for the product team to simplify onboarding and enhance visual consistency.
